The American Legion could help me get a van with a lift?
I am a member of the American Legion & Auxilry am in urgent need of a van with a lift. One that can be lowered electrocilly & Raised. I'm in a wheelchair stock and can not get into a regular van or car. PLEASE HELP ME, or let me know who could help me. I do not drive and I live in St. Louis, MO. I'm on a limited income and can not afford to buy a van. Thank you. Sharon Thurston
You must contact your dealer local mobility and see what experience they are dealing with government organizations and nonprofit organizations in your area. They should be well versed on what organizations and will not pay and should also help in this process.
