Adding one quarter inch border to a 8×10?
I used to add a border half-inch my photos 8×10 making 8.5×10.5 But now, my instructor told me to photograph add a quarter inch border .. What are the dimensions and an 8×10 photo? I am bad in quarter-inch
To me it means being around 0.25 inches. Thus the paper size should be set 8.5×10.5 Remember, you have 4 parts: top and bottom + left + right. 0.25 If you add on top, you'll also have to add 0.25 on the bottom, total height is 0.25 0.25 = 0.5 (for a total of 10.5 inches) A 8.25 would only give 0.125 "border down or up + left + right If you were adding half inch each side, the total length or width would add up to an inch.
