May I tell the story of a historic mill water that has become a vacation home hidden in the French countryside. Now, I tell that a number of points concerning the history and details of the region of Le Moulin Chez Lord, France 23,430.
When the water mill was built from the Limousin in France was controlled by British troops. The mill was built around the year 1272 and the local commander of the garrison lived in a house beside a small bridge over the river Beraud. As a member of the English gentry the town became known as Le Pont de Chez Lord, which means literally —- The Bridge House of the Lord.
Le Moulin de Chez Lord (which means The mill of God's house) was built near the home of the English lord. It was necessary to mill flour for making bread to feed troops and also grind rolled oats for the horses. It is easy to forget that the potato did not arrive in France until the middle the 15th century. Thus, the construction of the plant was well before the arrival in Europe of potatoes and bread was the main source of carbohydrates. The plant had been operating for 300 years before the first potato arrived from South America and eventually became an Basic European diet. Therefore, even for a small garrison in the long term, it is mandatory to have a reliable source of flour.
For the time when the water mill was built in a time scale we can explain that it was the thirteenth century, the time Richard the Lionheart, became king of England and Aquitaine in 1189. Thus, the mill was built during the Crusades and Robin Hood in England. The King Richard's participation and involvement at local level will be discussed later.
In Europe, this was the era of the early ice age. The Thames in London froze over in winter and caused some of the Scandinavians to leave their colonies in Iceland that the ice sheet crept south. The sun has been less active and the Earth has experienced a little ice age that lasted for nearly five centuries ending in the mid-1850s. Cultures are not routinely during this period … That's all for now from time of climate change unique. Here in France, the temperature was below about 2 degrees at the current average, so here watermill in winter, it was even colder and no doubt now that the shock that I pity our predecessors.
The mill was still in use until the 1980s when ground feeding the cow. The cottage factory has now been converted into a holiday home in this central part of France called Limousin.
Now venture to the Middle you come to the Massive Central, a mountainous area now known for winter sports. Turning now to the west, makes a brief trip to Limoges, famous for its porcelain works and go further in the coastal town of La Rochelle, the largest sailing center in the Bay of Biscay. Thisfascinating place is now also a resort and a center major tourism.

The historic mill is 700 years, and was made to supply flour to the British forces who were garrison in this part of France to maintain the English wine interests based in and around Bordeaux. The mill is nestled in a valley and consists of 20 acres grassland and woodland. The property is located down an alley of 300 feet which provides tranquility.
The Beraud river and mill pond mill water near surround and two steps of the house is a waterfall that was overflowing the mill pool. The river runs through the garden and form delicious island with several pine trees that is wonderful to relax during very hot days because there is usually a breeze off the River. We also frequently parties and barbecues, there hot summer afternoon.
The upstairs portion of the water mill was converted into two double bedrooms bathroom and downstairs in a living room with kitchen, lounge, etc. There is a patio shade by a waterfall that is perfect for a dinner al fresco or enjoy a glass of wine in the warm evenings.
