Image on Tshirt based on the degraded image of an original picture or the copyright infringeing screengrab?
I want to create a series of T-shirts for a small fan site. The images are created from photos of the pop star and screen grabs from videos. There are already designs / paintings for sale on this website (not made by me) obviously based on AMD's existing well-known photographs. Are the images on my T-shirts infringe copyright because they are modified and not a straight copy / paste from existing images?
Edit image does not remove the protection of copyright. The owner always has. Beware, there are lawyers making a business of surfing and searching for images broadcast on the Internet. And they have teeth and right. They rarely lose.
