Photo Railroad
It is a question of railway for those who are living in a haystack. Need photos of the branch Redstone?

Grinstone PA is a mining town (Pach) which was part of the PRR railroad. I am looking for photos that show a history of this era. There must be someone somewhere that

Well Ziggie what you are looking for is most likely not on the Internet, however difficult it is to believe with all the crap that is on here, I think it is some thing you'll probably find a photo collection of a private person, ie. old photos or postcards. Another idea would be to learn about ancient Photos of this branch of the railway in local libraries in many areas, you may find that some of them may actually have a few photos what you are looking for. I did not find the information listed mines in this area, so I'll put this link. Scroll toward the bottom of the page you should see it there, as it begins with Grindstone (Colonial No. 4), Jefferson Twp., Fayette Co., Pa., and continues with advertisements for a Works Coca-Cola as a mine shaft. I also found a link and posted it below in a council Pennsylvania Railroad discussion where someone else asked the same question you fundamentally, one member responded and said they had a variety of information Redstone on the branch. While they may have what you want or be able to point you in the right direction to find photos. You've probably not need this because I figure you already know but I also included a link from Wikipedia on the Monongahela Railway, mainly because mentions the Redstone part in it. I've been in this area before and it has some beautiful landscapes there you think? Have you ever seen the old bridge railway Steel I-70 that goes over the Monongahela River between I think it is out of Brownsville and Speers? Well, good luck in your quest to find photos. Have a nice day.
