How do you "COLOR" color photographs of fashion for old photos of English cottages? What class should I take?

I get the impression from your question that you speak is not related to "bend" at all. There are years, and for long after, even today, before the invention of color film layered photographs in black and white have were hand colored using oil paints. It is now an art that recalls the old process technology. This was mainly in the portrait work, but also have applications in the working landscape. The company that makes colors especially for oil This technique, called "Marshall" and the products sold were known as "Marshall's Oil Colors." they have been applied to b a little soft (because of the low contrast printing and a bulk density slightly lower) & print w. The printing paper in general had a slight roughness it has – a surface rather than glossy paper that are so common today. The colors were applied to some features such as hair, eyes, cheeks, sometimes parts of clothing. Other areas were left clear. The effect was very soft, almost dreamy. However, color could be applied more heavily if desired. Looking more glaring was then reached. The color was set with cotton swabs as I can remember. I do not know if these colors are available today or not. I'd do an Internet search if you think you would like. You could be the equivalent of this technique using your photo software handler, whatever you use. You want to use layers and put your colors on layers set on a b & w image. Then flatten them and save them and make your prints. The original look was very pastel, so it would be appropriate to mimic the look if you were to do so by digital means. I hope it is what you mean and this has helped you use the technique. Regarding the classes are concerned, if you can find the colors of the original Marshall, you do not need any class. Just get some and go to work. If you do not see, or want to do digital, I would say the same thing. The software, a good book regarding its use, some practice on your part and you!
