Port El Kantaoui Golf Course
The station is just a transfer of forty-five minutes from Monastir airport and two hours from Tunis. Port El Kantaoui Located just north of Sousse.
Tunisia first purpose built tourist town has now established as the country resort the most popular holiday. With its own beautifully appointed 300 International Yacht Marina Port El Kantaoui has just about everything one would expect of a beach fine family holiday, shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and quite a few evenings to keep the tourist visitor happy.
From April to November, you can practice water sports on the beach including sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing and water skiing. From the marina you can take sea trips in boats, glass bottom, sailing motor boats and catamarans or diving.
Other activities available within the resort, such quad, riding, tennis and golf, and if you fancy a flutter, then just five minutes away is the transport Casino, complete with slot machines, tables, restaurant and lounge.
The golf course is well worth a visit. Built in 1979 on property of 250 acres on a hillside, Port El Kantaoui golf course overlooks the resort Charming. Three mature nine hole course of the Red, Blue and Yellow and a fourth, the White, who pops up to play, make this a popular place. All were designed by the same architect, Ronald Fream and given the increased traffic flows over the past two years, a new During White is a very welcome addition.
Overall it is a quiet resort but you can find some quality things to do. It is best suited to couples who want a peaceful moment away, but there is a mix of young and old.
All the resort's hotels are good quality and provide at least one room, half board. There are one or two included on the offer, but large hotels offer a quality environment and facilities, with most of the bands on the great sandy beach.
You can hop hotel as much as you want, sampling the abundance four hotels and five star hotel in the resort, even if you are based in a home a little more humble. But there isn't a bad hotel in the resort.
Tunisia itself is a country where some visitors take their heart and others think is dirty, filthy and full of beggars and rip off merchants. But it is a land rich in history and culture, enjoying a bit of lively resorts, lined with beautiful sandy beaches. If you been disappointed before by Tunisia, give him another chance by staying in Port El Kantaoui resort is a much more continental style, but far from over marketed, chic, clean and comfortable.
